Hasen serves as both an Owner and Managing Partner of the transformative River Central project – a $2 billion transit-oriented development immediately adjacent to the DFW International Airport. The development spans over 400 acres spanning both sides of the Trinity River (140 acres of developmental land located in Fort Worth and Grand Prairie) and includes a range of amenities such as 3,680 luxury apartments, 530 town homes, 100 condominiums, 630,000 square feet of retail and entertainment space, 600,000 square feet of office space, 710 hotel rooms, and 50 acres of open space. River Central has teamed with San Francisco-based Gensler, a global architect firm with clients in over 100 countries, as the architecture firm behind the project.

This project consists of a phased multi‑family and workforce housing development designed to support a large‑scale data center campus in West Texas. The development includes purpose‑built residential units for permanent data center operations staff as well as temporary housing for construction and commissioning personnel, addressing a critical regional housing shortage. Planned with Spanish Mission architectural elements consistent with the surrounding community, the project integrates utility infrastructure, site amenities, and modern building systems consistent with long‑term operational needs. By delivering scalable, high‑quality housing adjacent to major data infrastructure investment, the project provides essential support to both immediate workforce demands and sustained regional growth.

As a club Chairman, David Hasenzahl spearheaded the transformative development of the new facilities at the historic Colonial Country Club. He was responsible for managing the delivery of design and construction of club facilities under a comprehensive $100mm CapEx program focused on the high-end renovation and expansion of the historic existing and new clubhouses, delivering sophisticated dining and social spaces alongside modernized locker rooms and lounges. This campus expansion and architectural restoration successfully honors the club’s Fort Worth heritage while providing a world-class environment for its members.

Hasen served as a development partner for The Josephine, a luxury 261-unit multi-family mixed use development, situated right on the edge of the historic Pearl District, and with easy access to the River Walk and some of the city's best restaurants. Within the buildings six stories are mixed-size residences — from studios to three-bedrooms, or 468-1,594 square feet. High end amenities included 10-foot ceilings, spa-style bathrooms with floor-to-ceiling tile, in-unit laundry rooms, oversized windows, and smart temperature control. Hasen served as a development partner for Culebra Commons, a multi-family development in San Antonio’s Alamo Ranch area. This development is located in a preeminent community in Far West San Antonio with true walk-to-retail residences. This well-designed complex contains 327 apartments located within seven 3-story buildings, spanning 14 acres. The units are offered as 1, 2, or 3 bedroom residences. It features state-of-the-art amenities, to include electric vehicle charging stations, automated package system, children’s playground, dog park, private pool and yoga center.

This Build‑for‑Rent development in Waller, Texas is planned as a master‑planned community of detached and clustered rental homes organized around private drives, shared open space, and neighborhood‑scale amenities. The site layout emphasizes efficient lot planning, modern horizontal construction methods, and durable materials to optimize long‑term operations and maintenance while preserving residential character. Homes are designed with contemporary floor plans, individual yards, and integrated utilities, delivering the benefits of single‑family living within a professionally managed rental environment. The project is engineered for scalability, operational efficiency, and long‑term asset performance in a high‑growth suburban market.
